The Retiree Council was chartered by the International Union to provide a venue for retirees to become involved and support their local union. The Council organizes several trips to Laughlin, Las Vegas, and other locations during the year which provides the retirees with an opportunity to connect with fellow Laborers. Retiring members are encouraged to join the council and support their union in the political arena, organizing new employers and any other area their Local may be of need. Retiree involvement is a key component for maintaining a heritage that seeks to honor the sacrifice made by our members in the past.
